Everyone’s favorite Elf is coming to Children’s House for the Central Coast premier of the holiday classic, Elf The Musical. The musical will play a limited engagement at Stephen B. Dudley Community Barn December 7 - 15. 

Elf The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. 

 

The musical features Los Angeles professional actors, Central Coast Adult talent  and local Children. Lead by Erik Austin (Buddy), the cast features, Dylan F. Thomas (Walter), Taylor Peters (Jovie), Joel Wadlow (Store Manager), Carey Blauvelt (Emily), Beau Sweeney (Michael), and Shannon Gonzalez  (Deb). The cast also includes Lillith Byllesby, Allison Doody, Anita Hendry, Kara Higgins, Melissa Rex, Avery Robinson, Bill Ziegler, Leo Zimmerman, and Ruth Zimmerman. The Elves are played by Lila Espy, Camille Hamilton, Alex Knight, Henry Knight, Luke Longman, Mirac Mattson, Alison Napoli, Charlotte Perrine, Abigail Robinson, Fiona Sweeney, and Dash Taylor.

A title known the world over,  Elf The Musical features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar (The Wedding Singer) and Chad Beguelin (Disney's Aladdin on Broadway), with a book by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone).   This modern-day holiday classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner elf. After all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear.
